Your Texas Privacy Rights
Effective Date: May 08, 2026 · Last Updated: May 08, 2026
Beacon Territory Group is a data broker under Texas law. We collect property and homeowner records from public records and other sources, and we provide them to licensed insurance agents. We did not collect this information directly from you. Texas gives you rights over that information, and this page explains them and how to use them.
The rights you have
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you can ask us to:
- Confirm and access. Tell you whether we are processing your personal data, and give you access to it.
- Correct. Fix inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Delete. Delete personal data we hold about you, whether you gave it to us or we obtained it from another source.
- Get a copy. Obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable, readily usable format.
- Opt out. Opt out of the sale of your personal data, of its use for targeted advertising, and of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Because we provide records to insurance agents, the opt-out of sale applies to our business directly.
How to make a request
Submit a request by email to support@beaconterritory.com.
Tell us which right you want to use and give us enough detail to find your information. We may ask for more information to verify your identity. We cannot complete a request we are unable to verify.
What happens next
We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend by another 45 days and will tell you why within the first 45. Your request is free up to twice in a 12-month period; if a request is unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline it, and we will tell you why.
If we say no — your right to appeal
If we decline your request, we will tell you why and how to appeal. To appeal, reply to our decision or write to support@beaconterritory.com. We will respond within 60 days. If we deny your appeal, we will give you a way to contact the Texas Attorney General to file a complaint, at the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, Consumer Protection Division.
Children and authorized agents
A parent or legal guardian may exercise these rights for a child. You may also name an authorized agent to act for you; we may ask for proof that you gave them permission, and we may still need to verify your identity.
