This Notice at Collection is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and analogous state laws. It summarizes the personal information Beacon Territory Group collects and how we use it. For complete details, please review our Privacy Policy.
1. Categories of Personal Information We Collect
We collect, or have collected in the preceding 12 months, the following categories of personal information:

Sensitive personal information: We do not intentionally collect categories of sensitive personal information beyond limited financial-account information needed to process payments.
2. Purposes for Which Personal Information is Used
- Providing and improving our Services, including ZIP-code-based subscription products;
- Account management, authentication, billing, and customer support;
- Compiling, scrubbing (DNC, litigator, deceased), and delivering territory and lead datasets to authorized clients;
- Marketing our own products and services (subject to opt-out rights);
- Analytics, research, product development, and quality assurance;
- Fraud prevention, security, and protection of legal rights;
- Legal compliance, including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and applicable state laws.
3. “Sale” and “Sharing” of Personal Information
Beacon does not sell personal information collected from website visitors in exchange for monetary consideration. However, our distribution of consumer-record datasets (e.g., property-owner contact records) to subscribing clients for their professional outreach activities may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA and analogous laws.
Categories that may be sold or shared: identifiers, customer-records information, commercial information, and inferences.
Categories of recipients: professional client subscribers (e.g., licensed real estate professionals) and authorized service providers (e.g., payment processors, hosting providers, scrub vendors).
Right to opt out: You may opt out by:
- Using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer;
- Transmitting a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser, which we honor;
- Emailing support@beaconterritory.com with the subject “Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing”; or
- Calling (205) 809-0527.
4. Sensitive Personal Information — Right to Limit
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121. Accordingly, we are not required to offer a “Right to Limit” control. If our practices change, we will update this Notice and provide the required mechanism.
5. How Long We Keep Personal Information
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
